Legoland Hotel is a hotel right next to Legoland in Billund. Currently there is also the newly built Legoland Castle Hotel, in an area in the vicinity of this hotel, which is also walking distance to Legoland.
This review is about Legoland Hotel.

What we liked:
- It is indeed truly next to Legoland. There is a corridor that connects the hotel reception to Legoland. One is there through a side door in the park. One avoids having to go though the main entrance altogether.
- The personel is professional and very nice.
- The hotel organizes activities for kids. Including one about building with Lego with a daily theme, after which a winner is picked and given a small present. This got my kids very engaged until late in the night!
What we think it could have been better:
- We were there in the summer, but luckily not during hot summer weather. It was rainy and cooler than usual. But still the room felt very warm. I can not imagine how it could feel during a hot day. The rooms at the Pirate wing of the hotel lack air conditioning.
- It is a bit dated in style and decor.
- Breakfast could be of better quality.
What we wish we knew beforehand:
- That there is parking available around the hotel. Not a problem.
- That there is no air conditioning in the rooms.
Practical info:
- Once one is there, saving time is important. It does pay off to be so close to Legoland. Wake up, have breakfast and start your adventure at the park right away!
- It is the closest Hotel to the park. The newly built Legoland Castle Hotel is a bit further away but also walking distance.
